About LisaLouise Photography
What can I say....
I have the most amazing job in the world, I get to spend my time and energy surrounded by all of my passions and work in one of the most inspirational environments possible, the wild natural world with everything it has to offer. I am a professional wildlife and nature photographer, based in a small village in central Scotland with fantastic access to all areas of Scotland and the U.K.
I am very fortunate to have very local access farmland/ grassland species and be located centrally enough that the stunning highlands are only a few hours drive. My work is published in a variety of mediums such as magazines, books and publications, it can also be found easily on stock sites. All my images are available to be used commercially.
Philosophy and approach:
My personal drive is that I always challenge myself to be learning in new areas, behavior or habitat of a species, camera techniques or new equipment or improving current knowledge. I thrive to be able to pass on the correct knowledge to anyone who would like it in a responsible and enthusiastic way. I have been lucky enough to travel to some fantastic locations and i have always been lucky enough to be surrounded by some excellent professional photographers, whose' knowledge base base helped me considerably on my journey and I continue to draw on it still.
A personal goal of my own is not just that I have a successful business but that I can inspire others through sharing my own experiences or knowledge to be able to improve their photography and field craft, learn something new or simply inspire them to get outside and enjoy nature.
As part of education and journey i have always had those around me to draw skills, knowledge and experience from. On a regular basis I like to try and do my own part in either giving my time to organisations and being able to spend time teaching/ inspiring children or adults about the natural world. This is an incredibly fulfilling thing to do but in turn I have also gained a lot of new skills and knowledge by doing so.
Presently I give as much time as possible volunteering with RSPB Glasgow office and I am regularly involved the Giving Nature a Home Project Glasgow team, the The Inner Forth Landscape Initiative, the new Loch Lomond Reserve as well as any media requirements pass my way.
I Welcome any questions at all, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
